Day 1: Long Beach (Los Angeles)

Departs at 3:30 PM  (You will want to get into LA as early as possible or even the day before.)

 

Meet your fellow travelers, settle into your cabin, enjoy our Welcome Mixer, and kick off your first Bachelor in Paradise social events.  Get Ready for the sail away party!!

When we talk about cruising from Los Angeles, fyi: we’re talking about cruises from Long Beach. A short drive from LA is where you’ll find this seaside Southern California city that’s inseparable from its big-city neighbor, while undeniably moving to its own local beat. Dotted with dozens of parks, beaches and multiple public golf courses (fore times five!), Long Beach also boasts perhaps the world’s most unique hotel — located aboard the old-time ocean liner The Queen Mary (which is haunted, or so go the rumors). You can experience it before one of Carnival’s cruises from Long Beach, but definitely don’t miss the glitzy, big-city Los Angeles — the right place to experience the left-coast life. Take in the storied sights of this City of Angels, from its modern museums and high-end shopping to its funky seaside towns and star-studded SoCal sights dotting the hills and boulevards. It’s a great time to explore your ship and its exciting entertainment, food and activities! Or take it easy at the pool, spa, or... if you book a room with a balcony, enjoy the waves.

Day 3: Cabo San Lucas

Spend the day exploring paradise with curated date experiences, optional excursions, and free time to create unforgettable memories.

Experience fee is nonrefundable but transferable.

Flights

Since the cost fluctuates so much and many guests would prefer to use their personal airline preferences, point, perks and credits, Airfare is not included in pricing or packages.


For help with booking flights, hotels, travel insurance, etc. please email charlotte@boisespeeddating.com with Subject Line: LOVE BOAT. We will be sending out a list of flights avaible from Boise that are leaving that morning with the perfered flight most people will be on.


Transportation To/From the Port

The most inexpensive/convenient way to get to and from the port in LA is to grab a cab at the airport.  Then at the cruise port, they have a line of taxis that are authorized to go to the airport.


Travel Documents:


U.S. citizens taking a "closed-loop" cruises (sailings that both originate and terminate in the same U.S. port) are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver's license (EDL) as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship and if 16 and over a photo ID is also required. If a cruise begins and ends in different U.S. ports or begins and ends in a foreign port, a valid passport or other WHTI- compliant document is required. A valid passport is required if you are traveling on any of our Europe cruises. All other non US citizens must have a passport for air, land and sea travel. Pregnancy Policy:

Just in case:  Carnival has a pregnant cruisers policy in place.  Guest may only cruise if they have not entered the 24th week of pregnancy at any time during the voyage. Guest should travel with a letter from their physician stating that they and baby are in good health and fit to travel. The letter should also include the estimated date of delivery and the results of any ultrasound studies performed. Any pregnant woman who tries to board the vessel, who has or will enter her 24th week of estimated fetal gestational age at any time during the cruise, risks denial of boarding and/or disembarkation without compensation or refund.

Boise Speed Dating Singles Cruise – Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Boise Speed Dating Singles Cruise, you agree to the following terms:

🎟️ Experience Fee

The Boise Speed Dating experience fee covers event planning, coordination, matchmaking services, and hosted activities.

  • The experience fee is non-refundable

  • If you are unable to attend, the fee may be:

    • Transferred to another participant, OR

    • Applied as a credit toward a future Boise Speed Dating event (valid for up to 12 months)

🚢 Travel Booking & Payments

All cruise bookings and travel-related purchases are handled separately through our partnered travel agent.

  • Cruise pricing, deposits, payment schedules, and cancellation policies are determined by the cruise line and travel provider

  • Boise Speed Dating is not responsible for travel-related refunds, cancellations, delays, or changes

📋 Participation Requirements

  • This event is designed for singles, But couples in our Boise Speed Dating Community are welcome too.

  • Participants must complete their event profile prior to the cruise

  • Attendees must bring a fully charged phone to participate in matching activities

⚖️ Conduct & Safety

Boise Speed Dating reserves the right to remove any participant from the experience (without refund of the experience fee) if they:

  • Violate event guidelines

  • Engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior

👥 Room Assignments

Participants selecting shared accommodations may be paired with another attendee.

  • Boise Speed Dating will assist with roommate matching but is not responsible for compatibility beyond reasonable efforts

📸 Media Release

By attending, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes.
